Global Revolutionary Activity — Why Now?

The Occupy movement began in the summer of 2011, when Canadian activist group Adbusters began organizing a large-scale protest against corporate America inspired by the “Arab Spring,” a wave of revolutions, dictatorial upheavals and large scale protests in the Middle East during the earlier part of the year.
